Roger Lee Letterman

Roger Lee Letterman, aged 76, of Asheville, NC, passed away at his home June 14, 2024.

Roger was born December 27, 1947, in Asheville, NC, to the late Rex Letterman and Kathleen Vaton Letterman. He attended Enka High and worked as a plumber for over 50 years where he demonstrated exceptional skill and commitment to his profession. Roger had a passion for antique cars and trucks. He loved attending car shows on weekends. More recently, he found joy in dancing at the Depot in Marshall, NC where he met his sweet bride. Roger attended Trinity Baptist Church for the past 10 years, where he actively participated in the Home Builders Sunday School Class. He Cherished the fellowship and teaching he experienced each Sunday.

In addition to his parents, Roger is preceded in passing by his wife of 50 years, Sandra Clifton Letterman, and sister, Jackie Letterman Nieves.

Roger is survived by his wife of 7 months, Nora Tomberlin; children, Mark (Crystal) Letterman and Alicia Letterman; and siblings, Diana (Phillip) Wright and Ruby (Mack) Woody.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 21, 2024 at 11 AM at Trinity Baptist Church, 216 Shelburne Road, Asheville, NC 28806. There will be a Visitation held after the service. Pastor Allen Rash and Pastor Doug Guy will be officiating.
