Rosa Lee Clinton

Mars Hill, NC:  Rosa Lee Clinton, age 78, formerly of Barnardsville, NC died early Wednesday morning, August 29, 2018 at Mission Memorial Hospital in Asheville after an extended illness.

Mrs. Clinton was born on January 1, 1940 in Barnardsville, NC to the late William and Bertha (Webb) Maynor and was the oldest of two children.  She leaves behind her three loving children, Vickey Shipman, Vivian Clinton and Edward “Tim” Clinton all from the Mars Hill, NC area.  Also surviving are many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death are her parents, her loving husband, Eddie J. Clinton; a brother, Groce Maynor and her loving grandson, Brandon R. Lunsford.

Mrs. Clinton was a seamstress for many years and was a loving and devoted wife, mother,  grandmother and great-grandmother.

At the family’s request there will be a private Memorial Services at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made on behalf of Mrs. Clinton to the American Heart Association, 156 Milestone Way #A, Greenville, SC 29615 or to the donor’s choice.

God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around you, and whispered…”COME TO ME.” With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.  A golden heart stop beating.  Hard working hands at rest.  God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.  Rosa Lee will be deeply missed by her loving and devoted family and many dear friends.

May God grant her eternal rest.
