Sallie Lynn Weikel, 51, of Franklin, NC passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026 in Asheville, NC.

Sallie was born on January 28, 1975 to Katherine Beaty of Clayton, GA and the late Eugene Chamblee (2013) in Clayton, GA. She is also preceded in death by her grandma, Sallie Beaty.

Sallie attended Rabun County High School before working with Burningtown Ilota Fire and Rescue. She was a passionate shopper and loved all things shoe related. Sallie adored her grandchildren and enjoyed the peace of being at home with a good TV show.

Surviving Sallie is her husband of 17 years, George Weikel; children, Dacie Seebach of Franklin, NC, Jada Collins of Franklin, NC; and mother, Katherine Beaty of Clayton, GA. Ashley, Brittany, Garrett, Jessica, Jamey Mathis (squad), Josh & Madison, Susan Weikel.
