Sally Ann Ward Miller went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 22, 2024. Born November 23, 1949, to the late Lyle and Dorothy Ward in Michigan, she was seventy-four.
Sally was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Ward, and sisters, Linda Crawford and Janice Ward Hall.
She is survived by her loving husband, Roger Edward Miller, Sr.; daughter, Tonya M. Russell (Kermitt - deceased), and sons, Roger E. Miller, Jr. (Cheryl), Vincent Miller (Michelle); grandchildren, Taylor Miller, Jordan Miller (Kali), K. Patrick Russell III (Stephanie), Caitlin H. Russell, and Roger E. Miller III; great-grandchildren, Jaden Miller, Lyla Miller and Mason Miller; sisters, Nancy Sweet, Joyce Burk (Richard), and Pam Ellis (John); and many sisters-in law, brothers-in law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held the afternoon of Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Meadowbrook Freewill Baptist Church (Black Mountain, North Carolina). There will be a receiving of friends 2:00-3:00pm and a Celebration of Life 3:00-4:00pm. Pastor Dennis Love will officiate.
