Samuel Theodore Griffin

Samuel Theodore Griffin, aged 60, of Brevard, NC, passed away November 8, 2024.

Samuel was born December 7, 1963, in Ft. Myers, FL, to the late James and Elizabeth Griffin. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Samuel would take them fishing and they listened to music, mostly spending time outdoors. He could always be found outdoors whether he was camping, boating, or around a bon fire. He would lend a hand to anyone who needed it. He was especially thankful to veterans and protective of the elderly.

In addition to his parents, Samuel was preceded in passing by his siblings, Tommie Jean Alzamora, Suzie Griffin, and Jody Griffin.

Samuel is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Karen Griffin; children, Erica (Jonathan) Patton, of Etowah, NC, and Melissa Benjamin of Brevard, NC; siblings, William Ludlow of GA and Jamie Vliet of Naples, FL; grandchildren, Leyland, Nyla, Kraigen, Andrew and James; best friend of 32 years, Coy (Cheryl) Mouton; additional very close friends, Harley Owen, Gary Wilson, and Mike (Casey) Lance;  and his dog and faithful companion, Stella.

A Celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
