Sharon Kay Byram, 74, of Pisgah Forest, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026, in Pisgah Forest, NC. She was born on October 7, 1951, in Springfield, OH, to the late Roger Wolfe and Ilene Winchester.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her brothers, Terry Wolfe and Shane Wolfe.
Sharon made her home in Pisgah Forest after many years in Port St. Lucie, FL. She worked as a dedicated house cleaner and took great pride in the relationships she built through her work. Outside of her profession, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures—shopping, spending time with her grandchildren, watching True Crime and Korean films, participating in Bible study, and sharing her love of teaching with those around her.
Sharon is survived by her children, Missy Ruiz (Javier Ruiz) of Pisgah Forest, NC, Arturo Estrada of Pisgah Forest, NC, Candy Estrada (Luis Bedolla) of Brevard, NC, and Sandra Basil (Evan Basil) of Stuart, FL; her siblings, Jana Varela (Louie Varela) of Sunrise, FL, and Joy Ready (Kenny Ready) of Pisgah Forest, NC; grandchildren, Bella Bedolla, Leana Bedolla, Elana Bedolla, Ivan Estrada, Roger Estrada, Arath Estrada, and Scarlett Estrada, all of Brevard, NC; and Mason Salzano, Savannah Basil, and Meadow Basil, all of Stuart, FL.
