Sharon Lynn Jones

Sharon Lynn Jones, 62, of Asheville, NC passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at her home. Born March 28, 1963, in Asheville, NC, she was a daughter of the late Arnold Jones and his spouse, Sue Jones, of Black Mountain, NC, and the late Hazel Ramsey and her spouse, the late Don Ray Ramsey. She enjoyed making crafts from wood and building magical fairy gardens. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death a brother, Timmy Jones. In addition to her stepmother, she is survived by her children, Jennifer Dockery and her spouse, Mike, of Leicester, NC, and Olivia Hensley and her partner, Dakota Pitts, Asheville, NC; siblings, Brenda Ingles of Marion, NC, Sandy Beaver of Fletcher, NC, Rhonda Hicks of Asheville, NC, Ronnie Jones of Asheville, NC, Gary Jones and his spouse, Freida, Asheville, NC, Debbie Ogle and her spouse, Larry, of Black Mountain, NC, Jason Jones of Black Mountain, NC, Marsha Messer of Asheville, NC, and Rhonda Poteat and her spouse, Johnny, of Marion, NC; grandchildren, Justin Lewis, Christian Dockery, Jacob Lewis, Destiny Dockery, Isabella Dockery, Jada Hensley, Tan-Niah Hensley, and Zaiden Hensley; four wonderful great-grandchildren; her canine companion, Cash; and six cats. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Paynes Chapel Cemetery with the family receiving friends from 12:30 to 1:45 PM in the chapel of Payne Chapel, 6712 Little Pine Road, Marshall, NC.
