Shirley Ann “Polly” Swayingim, 80, of Etowah, NC passed away on July 19, 2025 in Brevard, NC. Born on June 7, 1945 in Brevard, NC to the late Sam (Bud) Orr McCall and Hattie Galloway McCall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Swayingim, and her brother, Jerry E. McCall.

Polly graduated from Brevard High School. She later completed cosmetology school and was a hairstylist.

Surviving are her son, John Rogers (Rhonda) of Brevard, NC; siblings, Eddie McCall of GA, Lynette McCall Parker of Brevard, NC; nephews, Trek Parker of Etowah, NC, Ernie McCall (Cyrstal) of Brevard, NC; nieces, Hope Brome of Greensboro, NC, and Tesheka Hudson of Etowah, NC.
