Stephanie Rene Hall

Stephanie Rene Hall, of Brevard, NC, passed away peacefully at her home on April 5, 2026. She was born on December 29, 1960, in Lynchburg, VA. She was preceded in death by her birth mother, Helena Kidd, and her foster father, Joe Crosby.

Stephanie had a generous heart and a deep commitment to her community. She found joy in volunteering with the Special Olympics, the Hunger Alliance of Transylvania County, and HAVEN. She also loved spending time outdoors, especially taking walks with her beloved dog, Cinnamon.

She is survived by her daughter, Tesheka Hudson of Etowah, NC; her siblings, Greg Hall of Florida, Gary Hall of Jacksonville, FL, Tina Kidd of Lynchburg, VA, Anita Montiel of Dana, NC, David Crosby of Dana, NC, Robert Crosby of Fletcher, NC, Eddie Crosby of Dana, NC, and Scott Crosby of Dana, NC; her grandchildren, Jayda Hudson and Cree Hudson, both of Brevard, NC; her foster mother, Frances Crosby of Dana, NC; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

A service to honor Stephanie’s life will be held at a later date.
