Stephen Thomas Lenz

Stephen Thomas Lenz, 62, of Asheville, NC passed away at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals on February 25th, 2022.  Stephen was born on June 2nd, 1959 to the late Frederick Charles Lenz, who passed away in 1981, and the late Ruth Ferguson Lenz, who passed away in 2007. 

Stephen proudly served in the United States Navy.  Stephen did construction and carpentry.  He was a simple man who loved windy mountain roads and good conversation.  If you knew him, you will never forget him.  He loved his children more than anything.

Stephen is survived by his two daughters, Danielle Nicole Lenz, of Lavonia, GA, and Sophia Ruth Lenz, of Flag Pond, TN; his son, Stephen Michael Lenz, of Augusta, GA; his sister, Barbara Lenz Hall, of Woodinville, WA, and his two granddaughters, Skylar Marie Lenz, of Lavonia, GA, and Sommer Noelle Collins, of Crestview, FL.
