Steven Ross

Steven “Steve” Ross, 66, of Asheville, NC peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 in Asheville, NC.

Steve was born on July 1, 1959 in San Diego, CA to the late David Ross (2001) and Caroline Whitaker (2003). He is also preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Lynn Rico of Ottawa Ontario, Canada. Sandi was the love of his life. In times of his illness Sandi was by his side

Steve loved being outdoors, camping, and anything to do with nature. He also loved music and NASCAR.  Steve was very mechanically inclined and could fix just about anything.

Steve is survived by his sister, Debbie Ross; brother, Rusty Ross; step-brother, Eric Ross; son, Timothy Ross; daughter, Stevie Ross; step-daughters, Krista Rico and Shanna Gow.

He will be missed by his children and his step-children, Krista Rico and Shanna Gow of Ottawa Ontario, Canada.
