Tammy Lynne Hunnicutt

Tammy Lynne Hunnicutt, age 60, of Candler, NC passed away on December 18, 2024 in Asheville, NC.  Tammy was born in Asheville, NC on April 3, 1964 to Wilma Hunnicutt and the late Harold Hunnicutt.

Tammy is preceded in death by her sisters, Marlene Raines and Robin Hunnicutt, and her father, Harold Hunnicutt.

Tammy is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Roger Plemmons; her children, Whitney Hunnicutt (Salvador Ciolino), Michael Christopher, Antonia Christopher, and daughter-in-law Savannah DeCourt ( Daniel); her siblings, Bud Hunnicutt, and Totty Cox; her grandchildren, Macen, Zoe, Henry; and two unborn grandchildren; and lots of nieces and nephews.

Tammy was a graduate of Enka High School.  She helped open the Bojangles in Candler as a manager.  She worked there until her health would no longer allow her to.

Tammy enjoyed going to the beach with her sisters and best friend Lisa every year, spending time with Zoe on the weekends, and taking long rides with her husband, Roger. She was a loving mother and wife.  She was Aunt Tammy to everyone she knew.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Hominy Baptist Church in Candler at 2:00 PM with Pastor Melissa Hughes officiating.
