Thelma Lou (Sharpe) Clark

Thelma Lou Sharpe Clark, age 70, of Asheville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 12, 2025.

A lifelong resident of Leicester, NC, Thelma was a proud 1973 graduate of Erwin High School. She was deeply devoted to her Christian faith and found great purpose in serving others. Her life was defined by her love for God, her cherished family, and Annabel, her beloved cat.

She was the daughter of the late Grady and Easter Sharpe and was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Joe Sharpe. Thelma is survived by her cousins Barbara Revis (and husband Dean) of Leicester, NC; Kandi King Shepherd of Fairview, NC; Kevin King of Arden, NC; and her aunt, Bert King of Fletcher, NC.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the old Beulah Baptist Church, 929 N. Turkey Creek Rd., Leicester, NC. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Rev Sam King. A private graveside service will be conducted for the family.
