Trinity ‘’Trent’’ Hyde Batchelor, aged 35, of Nashville, NC, passed away May 5, 2023, in Asheville, NC.

Trent was born June 23, 1987, in Rocky Mount, NC, to Lisa Batchelor and the late Thomas Batchelor. He loved everything about nature, especially looking for arrowheads after a big rain. Trent had a laugh that was so contagious and always wanted to make people smile. He is with his daddy now and at peace.

In addition to his father, Trent was preceded in death by his honorary grandmother, Shirley Ballard.

In addition to his mother, Trent is survived by his maternal grandmother, Vera Dean of Rocky Mount, NC; aunt, Sandy Ballard of Rocky Mount, NC; nieces, Leah, Annie, KayLeigh, and Lily; and cousins, Jennifer (Johnny) Parrish of Rocky Mount, NC, Cassie (John) Robinson of Wilson, NC, and Johnna (Chris) Sutton of Rocky Mount, NC; honorary maternal grandfather, David Ballard of Russellville, KY; and honorary aunt, Leisa Taylor of Castalia, NC.
