Virginia "Jenny" Lee Collom

Virginia “Jenny” Lee Collom, 68, of Memphis, TN passed away on February 15, 2025 at the CarePartners Solace Center in Asheville, NC.

Jenny was born on November 30, 1956 in West Memphis, AR to the late Robert Ellison and Virginia Cayton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth Ellison, Susan Ellison, and Deborah Ellison.

Jenny graduated from West Memphis Senior High in West Memphis, AR. Before settling down in Asheville, NC, she spent time living in Memphis, TN, Amarillo, TX, Herford, TX, and MO. Jenny loved listening to music, playing bingo, going shopping, reading her bible, doing crossword puzzles, and dogs. She also loved her children and grandchildren. If you wanted a smile, all you needed to give her was a cold coca-cola and some cheetoh puffs.

Surviving Jenny are her children, Johnnie Collom (Alisha) of Dexter, MO, Charity Ream (Garry) of Asheville, NC; grandchildren, William Hardy Jr. (Lindsey) of Earle, AR, Ezekiel Hardy Sr. of Marion, AR, Edward Hardy of Earle, AR, Joshua Hardy (Jamie) of Highland Heights, KY, Jakob Hardy of West Memphis, AR, Dalton Hardy of West Memphis, AR, Trey Collom of Dexter, MO, Jonah Collom of Dexter, MO, Megan Collom of Dexter, MO; and 8 great grandchildren.
