Vivian (Braun) Raymond

Vivian Raymond, 94, of Weaverville, NC passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026 at her son’s home in Weaverville, NC with her family by her side. Born November 28, 1931 in the Bronx, NY. She was a daughter of the late Edward and Lillian Braun. In the earlier years of her life, she was employed by Fabric Bonanza as a seamstress which she enjoyed. She took pleasure in sewing, making crafts, and bowling which she had done for most of her life. Vivian resided in New Bern, NC for thirty years before moving to Weaverville, NC three years ago. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her spouse, William “Ray” Raymond, and sister, Joyce McGrath. Surviving are her children, Scott Raymond and his spouse, Kelly, and Cynthia Raymond all of Weaverville, NC; grandchildren, Shaun Raymond of Atlanta, GA, Karly Knudsen and her spouse, Parker, of Candler, NC, and Megan Raymond of Candler, NC; and her great-grandchildren, Kaya Nora Knudsen and Harper Laurel Knudsen. No services will be held at this time.
