Wayne Edward Carswell

Wayne Edward Carswell, aged 69, of Morganton, NC, passed away April 2, 2024 in Asheville, NC.

Wayne was born July 20, 1954, in Morganton, NC, to the late Leonard Carswell Sr. and Mary Carswell. He attended the University of Florida, were he received a Bachelors in Anthropology and Political Science. Wayne later worked for the University as the Deputy Registar. He was a Scoutmaster of Troop 611 of the Boy Scouts of America. Wayne loved fishing, University of Florida football and the Boy Scouts of America.

Wayne is survived by his son, Brian Carswell of St. Augustine, FL; siblings, Leonard (Deborah) Carswell of Madisonville, TN and Constance Carswell of Titusville, FL; and nephews, Christopher (Brittany) Carswell of St. Petersburg, FL and Dr. Timothy (Dr. Mimi) Carswell of St. Petersburg, FL.

Wayne will be laid to rest at Table Rock Mountain, NC.
