Wilhelm Johann Klimek

Wilhelm "Willi" Johann Klimek, 91, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2024.

Willi was born on September 25,1932. He was a native of Germany and immigrated with his young family to the United States in 1959. Living in Western North Carolina he loved the mountains, reminiscent of his native homeland. He retired from MB Industries in Rosman N.C. He enjoyed hiking, biking, kayaking, soccer and sharing life with his beloved wife and six children.

Willi was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Hildegard. He is survived by his children Dagmar “Westi” Roberts, Juergen Klimek, Neal Klimek, Karen “Gagi” Klimek, Angelika “Geli” Klimek, Irene “Rene” Klimek, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
