William Hugh Burnette

            William Hugh Burnette of Candler, North Carolina, passed May 10, 2023. Born December 2, 1941, to William Lewis Burnette and Grace Burnette Davis in Asheville, he was eighty-one. Bill was a mason and retired truck driver.

            In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by siblings Larry Burnette, Barbara Slania and Pete Clontz.

            He is survived by Jeane Burnette, to whom he was married forty-years; children, William Todd Burnette of Prosperity, South Carolina, and Tracy Adaire Burnette of Candler; sister, Billie Louise McCoy of Candler; and grandchildren, Jessica Pace and John Bryson, both of Asheville.
