William Clarence Cecil

     William (Bill) C. Cecil of Brevard, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on May 8, 2020. He was sixty-nine years old.

     Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jo Kiefer Galloway, and by a daughter, Lindsey Marie Cecil.

     He is survived by the love of his life, Lisa Courtney, of the home; a daughter, Tiffany Cecil and her spouse Rusty Farr of South Carolina; two step-daughters, Amber Boudrieau and her spouse Bronson of Fairview, North Carolina, and Brooke Hayes and her spouse Billy of Candler, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Myles Farr, John Boudrieau and Opal Boudrieau; two brothers, Bobby and Ricky Galloway of Brevard, North Carolina, and a sister, Karen Galloway of South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

     Bill served in the Marine Corps and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a very proud marine. Bill worked for Ecusta for twenty years, and then went to work at the VA Hospital from where he retired.

     Bill loved spending time with his family and his friends. He enjoyed his ballgames, and racing. Bill really enjoyed spoiling his grandkids and teaching them new things. He was a member of Mount Moriah Calvert Baptist Church of Rosman.

     A memorial service in Bill’s honor will be held at a later date.
