Bill worked at Sherwin-Williams, Lowes, Steelcase, and retired in 2013 from Kimberly-Clark in Hendersonville, NC. He was a quiet man, a bit of a homebody, but enjoyed getting out to play golf. Bill listened to a variety of music, and loved dancing in his living room with his girls. He loved making people laugh, spending time with his family and pets. Bill was known for either giving people nicknames or poking them in the eye!
Information regarding Bill’s Celebration of Life will be given out on social media at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Blue Ridge Humane Society in his name, as he was an avid animal lover. His family wants to thank Dr. Eric Byrd and his staff for the many years of attention and patience with his care. They also want to thank the staff of Pardee Hospital and Elizabeth House.
And, finally, a quote from Bill: “Let’s be like horse turds and hit the road!”
