William Arthur Lanning Sr., 95, passed away on September 8, 2018. Mr. Lanning loved the outdoors and was a lifelong resident of Henderson County. He proudly served our country in the Army Air Corp during WWII. He is survived by his son, William “Bill” Lanning Jr. and daughter, Karen Sue Lanning. He also leaves behind two grandsons and several great grandchildren.
